Hello Everyone,
Wow! I was blown away by the amazing races we all ran on Saturday. 5 PR's and more importantly nearly 70 skulls were earned on the day. It was an impressive day for everyone, I couldn't have been more proud of each guy that left no regrets out on the course yesterday. Below is the recap for the meet and the results. Great work everyone, but we aren't done yet!
RECAP
RESULTS
Congrats to the Three Stars and Honorable Mentions of the race!
Three Stars of Regionals:
1.Hayden Holmes – 8th place finish and set personal best time 16:35
2.Jacob Dean – 12th place finish and set personal best time 16:42
3.Nate Wilson – set personal best time 17:33
Honorable Mention:
This week we will practice as an entire team at 4PM at WSH. However, only the top 7 varsity runners will compete on Saturday. I will address the team Monday before practice on who those top 7 runners are. Please plan on bringing in jerseys and shorts this week to turn in to Coach Kay unless you are racing on Saturday. More information will be sent out Monday on the plans for our MHSAA State Final trip and the November 10th banquet at Boone's.
Lets continue to finish the season strong! Even if you are not competing on Saturday it doesn't mean you can't continue to get better alongside your teammates each day. I am proud of everyone so far this season, but we aren't done yet!
Best,
Coach Kay
