Hello Everyone,
It sounds like Jackson was a wonderful day for a run! Unfortunately, I was unable to witness the fast times first hand, but I was sure to get updates on my phone as soon as I could at the wedding I was at. I want to thank the Krecow's, Seekamps', Lohr's, and anyone else who helped out with the pasta dinners this past week. I also want to thank you all for being flexible with our schedule last week as we had two early get ups. Thank you Coach Alpers, Izzy, and John (and parents) for traveling with the team to Jackson as well. If you grabbed an extra pair of warm ups or t-shirt at Jackson, please bring it with you to practice tomorrow.
Quick Race Recap: RESULTS
Looking at the times from the field it seemed like a great day to race. We had some very strong showings from our top 14. Robbie Lohr had a blazing time of 16:07 placing 5th overall. Hayden Holmes and Jacob Dean continue to trade places and work hard to push each other beyond their limits each and every race. Ryan Durand and Drew Daenzer rounded out our top 5 in a fast way. Zach Dittenbir surged to the top 7 on the team, just two seconds behind his season best time. Sam Moore, Jason Seekamp, Joe Palmer, Michael Carley, and Hunter Krecow beat their season bests. Great job everyone that raced!
Three StarsRunner
1Robbie Lohr - incredible time and finish
2Hunter Krecow - beat season PR by 30 seconds
3Jason Seekamp - beat season best by 13 seconds
Our next step will be BNC #2 in TC at Courtade Elementary on Tuesday, October 4th.
Areas of focus: Use and challenge teammates, maintain health and monitor nutrition, and finish strong
This week:
Best,
Coach Kay
